This year the Area 6 Championship will be held at Belton Gun Club in Belton, SC August 22 – 25.
Right now, we’re putting out the call for staff. Continuing the practice from the previous two years, this will be a staff reset match. You will be working as part of a team on your stage, but together you will be on your feet scoring, pasting, or reseting for every shooter on the stage. It’s not strenuous work, but it does make for long days.
We’d be honored if you’d dedicate a long weekend of your time to helping us put on one of the greatest matches in the country. We promise to take very good care of you. You can find the details of our staff package and a link to submit your staff application on our website.
In spite of all the USPSA drama that has ensued over the last several months, we feel confident that the right kind of change is coming to USPSA leadership and we’re heading in the right direction. We’re not there yet, but we have faith that come August when this match is on the ground, we’ll all be able to say that we’re proud to be USPSA members again. With this in mind, we’ve decided to move forward with our plans to host the 2024 Area 6 Championship as a Level III match.
